Dr. Caghan Baytekin was born in Eskisehir in 1973. After graduating from Eskisehir Ataturk High School in 1990, he has completed his medical degree from Hacettepe Medical Faculty, Ankara, in 1997. He has started his plastic surgery training in 1998 at the Department of Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery, Izmir Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine. During his residency he has specifically worked on the field of microsurgery. Went to basic and advanced experimental microsurgery curses in European Science Ins. Norderstedt- Germany and Sisli Etfal Hospital - Istanbul. He attended Burn Treatment and Laser application courses in Ankara in 2002.

At the year of 2004 he has completed his plastic surgery training in Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine. He proceed working at the same department as specialist - surgeon till December 2004 and continued his medical experience in Aydin Adnan Menderas Uni. Dep of Plastic - Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery as Lecturer-Surgeon.

Dr Baytekin was elected as a member to the Turkish Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, and board certificated by the same association in 2005.

In 2006 he was transferred to Kocaeli Acibadem Hospital as Staff Plastic Surgeon.

Dr Baytekin has worked at the Izmir Kent Hospital as staff Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon between 2007-2011

Dr Baytekin is the owner of "Clinic Baytekin Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic" and is the staff surgeon of Ege Saglik Hospital - Izmir.

Dr Baytekin continued his post graduate education and attended Ultrasonic Liposuction (Vaser) courses at Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2006, worked as visiting surgeon at the ONEP Science Ins. with Prof. Dr. Onur Erol, attended Fundamentals of Maxillofacial and T.M Joint Surgery Course in 2006 and Endoscopic forehead surgery and Rhinoplasty course at Uni. Köln- Germany in 2007. Besides these post graduate courses Dr. Baytekin attended many Congress, symposium and seminars. Published 13 international papers, presented over 30 presentations in national and international meetings.

Dr Caghan Baytekin is a member of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons), Balkan Association of plastic surgeons, Turkish Plastic – Rec. And Aesthetic Surgery Ass., Tissue reconstruction and wound healing societies. Dr Baytekin is married has one son. He speaks English and German.
